July 30, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 107 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 30 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 77 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 14 people are positive from operational resorts, and 56 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 77,309 cases, including 2,595 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,156 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 94 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 74,481.
According to HPA, there are 13 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 221 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
