August 03, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 125 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 26 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 99 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 08 people are positive from operational resorts, and 91 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 77,758 cases, including 2,459 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,449 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 137 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 75,065.
According to HPA, there are 16 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 222 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
