Parliament member Ahmed Rasheed said that a hope is to connect Africa region and the Addu city of Maldives.
Referring to the recently established cargo ferry service between India and Maldives, member Ahmed Rasheed tweeted that he hopes to connect Africa region and Addu city of Maldives in scheduled trips.
The recently established cargo ferry service has reached its first ferry to Male’ today from H.Dh Kulhudhuffushi port. The cargo ship reached H.Dh Kulhudhuffushi port on Sunday early morning, carrying over 500 tonnes of cargo.
The cargo ferry service link between Maldives and India, will run 2 or 3 times per month between Cochin, India - Kulhuhffushi and Male’ city of Maldives.
Meanwhile oppositions have been criticising the government for the cargo ferry service link established between Maldives and India.
