August 25, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 110 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 27 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 84 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 76 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 80,328 cases, including 1,682 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,569 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 112 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 78,408.
According to HPA, there are 13 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 225 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
