September 29th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 37 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 31 Maldivians and 06 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 34 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 03 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,194. This includes 1,116 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 87 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,037 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 23 resorts and in 23 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 11 Tourists and 20 staff.
