September 07, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 165 additional cases of Covid-19.



The recorded positive cases include 51 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 114 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 11 people are positive from operational resorts, and 103 people are positive from inhabited islands.



With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 82,264 cases, including 2,117 active cases to Covid-19.



So far, HPA has taken 5,438 test samples within the last 24 hours.



HPA also reported that 112 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 79,907.



According to HPA, there are 16 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 227 deaths from Covid-19 complications.



In addition to this, a total of 385,855 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 303,667 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine
