September 14, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 120 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 48 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 72 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 06 people are positive from operational resorts, and 66 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 83,070 cases, including 1,881 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 4,729 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 175 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 80,949.

According to HPA, there are 18 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 227 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 389,557 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 323,679 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
