September 23, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 86 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 29 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 57 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 53 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 84,103 cases, including 1,653 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,172 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 107 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 82,209.
According to HPA, there are 18 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 229 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
