September 25, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 126 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 32 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 94 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 88 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 84,290 cases, including 1,614 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 3,893 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 123 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 82,432.

According to HPA, there are 15 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 231 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 391,582 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 335,293 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
