September 26, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 72 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 31 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 41 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 36 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 84,362 cases, including 1,551 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,632 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 135 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 82,567.
According to HPA, there are 20 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 231 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
