The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI), towards implementing the design and build of shore protection structures at Adh. Kunburudhoo island.

MTCC said that the project is to be completed within 150 days, and the project signed today is valued at MVR 9.61 million.

During a special ceremony held today, the contract was signed by COO Shahid Hussain Moosa on behalf of MTCC. On behalf of the MNPHI, permanent Secretary Ms. Zeeniya Hameed signed the contract.

Project works involve, dredging and excavation operations, construction of a 170m revetment; a 57m quay wall; construction of a 9m x 9m ramp, installation of 250sqm harbor pavement, and installation of harbor lights.
