October 03, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 71 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 22 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 45 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 45 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 85,042 cases, including 1,505 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,668 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 115people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 83,293.
According to HPA, there are 18 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 231 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
