Speaking at the last press conference of the Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC), Dr Nazla said that action has been taken over usage of a fake Health Protection Agency (HPA) sticker.
HPA stickers are issued for following the HPA guidelines in operating cafe’s, shops, restaurants and public service places.
Further elaborating, Dr Nazla said that the usage of a fake sticker came to notice during the mass inspection. From the mass inspection, HPA collects all the details of places which are following the HPA guidelines, and during this inspection, the HPA sticker has been used in 2 places where HPA has not checked.
Although they were following the HPA guidelines, action has been taken for using a fake sticker.
Dr Nazla has also said that most places were following the guidelines during the inspection, and right after the stickers are issued for following the guidelines they tend to continue to violate the guidelines, which is disappointing.
Dr Nazla urged to continue to follow the guidelines as it is a safety measure taken for everyone's safety to prevent further spreading of the virus.
