October 07, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 70 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 13 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 57 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 03 people are positive from operational resorts, and 54 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 85,198 cases, including 1,319 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,177 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 84 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 83,784.
According to HPA, there are 15 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 232 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
