October 08, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 46 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 07 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 39 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 35 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 85,394 cases, including 1,339 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,121 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 25 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 83,809.
According to HPA, there are 15 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 233 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
