October 13, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 106 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 21 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 85 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 07 people are positive from operational resorts, and 78 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 85,838 cases, including 1,207 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,286 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 88 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 84,381.
According to HPA, there are 14 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 237 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
