October 20, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 95 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 38 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 57 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 02 people are positive from operational resorts, and 55 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 86,419 cases, including 1,311 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 3,832 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 63 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 84,856.

According to HPA, there are 15 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 239 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 393,813 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 352,627 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
