October 26, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 115 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 22 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 93 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 08 people are positive from operational resorts, and 85 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 87,186 cases, including 1,553 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 3,541 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 110 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 85,378.

According to HPA, there are 20 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 242 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 394,176 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 355,250 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
