November 01, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 131 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 28 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 103 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 08 people are positive from operational resorts, and 95 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 87,915 cases, including 1,836 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 4,018 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 87 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 85,823.

According to HPA, there are 29 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 243 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 394,574 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 357,767 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
