October 3rd; Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 67 positive cases from 1,555 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 58 Maldivians and 09 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 41 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 26 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,465. This includes 1,114 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 97 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,310 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 20 resorts and in 22 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 09 Tourists and 16 staff.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
