November 17 the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 149 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 18 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 131 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 20 people are positive from operational resorts, and 111 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 90,266 cases, including 2,150 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 4,045 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 152 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 87,855.

According to HPA, there are 09 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 248 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 395,195 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 361,391 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
