November 20: the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 137 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 17 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 120 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 11 people are positive from operational resorts, and 109 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 90,601 cases, including 2,040 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,025 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 196 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 88,315.
According to HPA, there are 15 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 248 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
