November 29: the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 79 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 25 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 54 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 02 people are positive from operational resorts, and 52 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 91,543 cases, including 1,733 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,164 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 113 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 89,547.
According to HPA, there are 12 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 250 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
