December 01: the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 100 additional cases of Covid-19.

The recorded positive cases include 26 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 74 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 04 people are positive from operational resorts, and 70 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 91,750 cases, including 1,673 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 3,696 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 39 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 89,813.

According to HPA, there are 11 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 251 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 395,781 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 364,082 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
