Recent reports of Maldives Immigration, 9,538 tourists arrived in Maldives in September.
As per the recent reports, along with 9,538 tourist arrivals in September has increased in 25% from the number of tourist arrivals in August. Recent reports also show that so far a total of 18,867 tourists have arrived in Maldives since the border reopening on July 15th.
The number of tourist arrivals from Russia was increased in September with 2065 tourists, due to direct flight operations between Russia and Maldives. Along with Russia, UAE and America record the most number of tourist arrivals in September. While 1,029 tourists arrived from UAE, 935 tourists arrived from America.
Maldives has started working on recovering its tourism industry and the increase in the number of tourist arrivals shows the results of the activities organised to increase tourist arrivals.
