December 04: the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 102 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 25 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 77 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 05 people are positive from operational resorts, and 72 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 92,095 cases, including 1,726 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,818 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 100 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 90,103.
According to HPA, there are 19 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 253 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
