December 05: the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 116 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 25 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 91 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 06 people are positive from operational resorts, and 81 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 92,211 cases, including 1,739 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,179 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 102 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 90,205.
According to HPA, there are 19 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 254 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
