December 10: the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 92 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 20 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 72 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 09 people are positive from operational resorts, and 63 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 92,846 cases, including 1,801 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,366 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 151 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 90,776.
According to HPA, there are 16 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 256 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
