December 13: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 127 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 26 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 101 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 12 people are positive from operational resorts, and 89 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 93,246 cases, including 1,947 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,110 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 104 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 91,028.
According to HPA, there are 17 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 258 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
