Judicial Service Commission (JSC) Maldives appoints Uz Fathmath Faruneeza and Uz Hassan Shafeeu as Judges for High Court. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim, Judge at Supreme court, administered their oaths of office during the ceremony held on Sunday.
Uz. Faruhyza has completed Bachelor of Law (honours) and Masters of Cooperative Law in Malaysia International Islamic University. She has 10 years of experience as a lawyer along with working as a public prosecutor and private practices. She also has experience in teaching Law.
Uz. Hassan Shafeeu has completed Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Maldives College of Higher Education and Masters of Cooperative Law in Malaysia International Islamic University. Since 2013 he has worked in Family Court and Civil Court as a Judge. He has 14 years of experience, along with teaching Law and drafting laws.
