December 14: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 124 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 35 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 89 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 13 people are positive from operational resorts, and 76 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 93,370 cases, including 1,981 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,167 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 90 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 91,118.
According to HPA, there are 18 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 258 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
