October 7th; Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 35 positive cases from 1,123 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 30 Maldivians and 05 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 32 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 03 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,656. This includes 1,068 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 81 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,547 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 19 resorts and in 21 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 10 Tourists and 15 staff.
