Speaker of the Parliament Nasheed gives assurance on sharing the details of the agreements between India and Maldives, through the parliament committee.
Meanwhile the immediate issue raised by MP Ahmed Shiyam to reveal the details of the agreements between India and Maldives due to public concerns, got rejected at the parliament.
Regarding which, Nasheed said that agreements mentioned by MP Shiyam had continued since the former presidency hence it is not an immediate issue and rather he offered to get the requested information through the parliament committee 241.
As per the immediate issue raised by MP Shiyam, he raised concerns for having 50 Indian Military officers to operate the helicopters given by the Indian government, and he also raised questions for being 10 years without training any local Military officers to operate it, for which he requested an update on the agreements along with further information. He further raised questions on the 800 million dollar cricket field developed by the Indian government as well.
