February 06: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 1757 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 628 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 1129 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 133 people are positive from operational resorts, and 815 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 150,337 cases, including 17,169 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,792 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 2223 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 132,872.
According to HPA, there are 52 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 283 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
