February 10: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 1406 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 307 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 1099 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 69 people are positive from operational resorts, and 891 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 155,917 cases, including 16,208 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,781 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 1292 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 139,409.
According to HPA, there are 58 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 287 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
