February 11: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 986 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 206 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 786 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 109 people are positive from operational resorts, and 596 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 156,903 cases, including 16,227 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,936 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 967 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 140,376.
According to HPA, there are 49 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 287 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
