February 12: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 1128 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 155 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 973 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 65 people are positive from operational resorts, and 806 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 158,031 cases, including 16,161 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,390 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 1193 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 141,569.
According to HPA, there are 41 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 288 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
