February 13: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 1030 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 187 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 843 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 67 people are positive from operational resorts, and 716 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 159,061 cases, including 15,910 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,451 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 1280 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 142,849.
According to HPA, there are 31 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 289 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
