February 14: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 1015 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 182 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 833 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 44 people are positive from operational resorts, and 728 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 160,076 cases, including 15,818 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,042 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 1107 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 143,956.
According to HPA, there are 29 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 289 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
