February 15: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 1037 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 136 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 901 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 41 people are positive from operational resorts, and 828 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 161,113 cases, including 15,782 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,061 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 1073 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 145,029.
According to HPA, there are 30 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 289 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
