February 18: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 607 additional cases of Covid-19.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 163,581 cases, including 15,368 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,823 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 743 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 147,910.
According to HPA, there are 28 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 299 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
In addition to this, a total of 398,056 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 370,688 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while, 116,629 people have received the booster jab.
