As per Alhan Fahumee, 2018 presidential elections were not voided because of the former Supreme judge, retired Dr. Didi.
Alhan’s statement was in reference to Dr. Iyaz blaming Dr. Didi for selling court sentences. Alhan further denied Dr. Iyaz’s blame for Dr. Didi, and called Dr. Iyaz is a liar. Alhan further raised the question to Dr. Iyaz, asking whether it is Sunnah to falsify and spread rumours about another Muslim brother.
“If it wasn't for Dr. Didi as a Supreme judge, 2018 election results would have been nullified at the court and arresting the Elections Commissioner, to make sure former President Yameen stays at the presidency” Said Alhan.
Alhan also said that President Ibrahim Solih and Jumhoory Party Leader will also agree with him. Alhan said that while Dr. Iyaz falsely blames others, there is proof that Dr. Iyaz has tried encouraging his influence over court sentences as well.
Dr. Iyaz tweeted calling Dr Didi for not raising his voice when he could, hence it is hard to believe what Dr. Didi says.
In reply Dr. Didi have said the most dangerous thing for a Muslim country is to have people who uses the religion as a negative influence. Dr. Didi also said that it is written in history that the sheikhs using the religion as a negative influence will be the most dangerous thing to the Muslim community.
In agreement to Dr. Didi’s statement, former senior judge at the Criminal Court, Ahmed Hailam said not all facts said by people under defending religion, should adhere to the political beliefs.
Meanwhile heated exchanges were continued on social media, Alhan Fahumee also called out to the former Maldivian singer, Ali Rameez on his views on people not believing IS and Al Qaidha activities.
