Parliament member Mohamed Raaee calls the Government cabinet ministers to follow the views of the ruling political party, Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

Referring to the statement by the parliament group leader, Ali Azim written in ‘Habaru Sitee’ released by MDP, Raaee said that it doesn't look like that the manifesto of MDP is properly implemented within the state governance, hence it is important the cabinet ministers to follow the views of the ruling political party.

As per the statement by Ali Azim written in ‘Habaru Sitee’, political parties in the government coalition have already started preparing for the next presidential elections and blamed them for continuing to benefit its supporters with projects and jobs through the government. He also questioned the objectives of the other political parties joined in the government coalition.

Azim also highlighted that this is commonly ongoing in the islands, from which MDP members have felt left behind or useless and their trust towards the party has started to fade away. Hence it is also important to quickly decide whether MDP will be competing in the next presidential election alone or along with the party's coalition.
