February 25: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 507 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 40 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 467 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 24 people are positive from operational resorts, and 405 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 168,631 cases, including 15,356 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,223 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 531people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 152,968.
According to HPA, there are 20 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 294 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
