February 27: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 484 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 57 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 427 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 24 people are positive from operational resorts, and 382 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 169,632 cases, including 15,076 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,014 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 618 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 154,246.
According to HPA, there are 14 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
