March 02: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 459 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 41 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 418 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 29 people are positive from operational resorts, and 371 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 171,114 cases, including 14,831 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,503 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 540 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 155,973.
According to HPA, there are 10 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
