March 03: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 535 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 42 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 493 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 34 people are positive from operational resorts, and 448 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 171,649 cases, including 14,887 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,231 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 479 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 156,452.
According to HPA, there are 10 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
