March 04: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 298 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 21 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 277 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 28 people are positive from operational resorts, and 247 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 171,947 cases, including 14,766 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,101 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 419 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 156,871.
According to HPA, there are 11 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
