March 06: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 306 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 27 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 279 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 22 people are positive from operational resorts, and 245 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 172,576 cases, including 14,469 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 1,853 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 408 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 157,797.
According to HPA, there are 08 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
