March 13: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 291 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 44 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 247 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 11 people are positive from operational resorts, and 229 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 174,658 cases, including 10,661 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,103 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 1916 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 163,687.
According to HPA, there are 04 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
